The Revd David Peck recently visited Uganda at the invitation of World Vision. David and Charles Badenoch, (CEO of World Vision UK) saw first-hand the humanitarian and development projects that are run by World Vision Uganda on the ground. Many of which relate to advocacy activities, peace-building and community reconciliation - especially amongst children. The 5-day visit between 16-20 October, included time at the World Vision Uganda Children of War Rehabilitation Centre, Noah's Ark - Refuge for Child Night Commuters, and Awer IDP Camp. The visit was a valuable step in the ongoing partnership betweeen Anglicans in Development and WV, especially around issues facing Northern Uganda.
