Report from Burundi November 2006
Programme Officer Helen Stawski travelled to Bujumbura in Burundi to be with the Provincial Office and their diocesan development workers to formulate plans for educational reconstruction in post conflict Burundi. She was their to collect data on the current situation in diocese since the announcement of universal free education and the lack of capacity to support this. Collectively they talked through local educational problems and solutions for all children including orphaned and vulnerable children such as those living with HIV/AIDS.
